When subject is singular like He , She , It , any name then we can place does in negative or interrogative sentence .
When Subject is plural like I , We , You ,they then we can place do in negative or interrogative sentence .
When we can place " s or es " with 1st form of verb ?
First Condition :- When Subject is singular then case of ‘s or es ‘ with first form will be applicable .For example – He eats food .(Here he is singular then we place ‘s’ with verb eat .But here a questions arises that when we can place ‘s’ or when we can place ‘es’ for it you can follow second condition .
Second Condition – When verb is ending with any vowel ( a , I , o , u , e ) then we can place ‘es’ with 1st form of verb otherwise we will place only ‘s’ with form of verb.
For Example :- She goes to school. (Here verb go is ending with vowel ‘o’ that is why we placed ‘es’ with 1st form of verb .
